Scrap Metroid!,How about Medievil?

Today I have given up on the metroid project and instead I am making a Medievil fangame instead. Medievil was my favourite game and I have decided to make a remake on the second medievil game but in 2D. I will be drawing all the sprites by hand only drawing them and not colouring them since I will use the computer to add colour and then thats where the fun will begin. First I will start with a demo so you all can get used to the gameplay and how good it is going to be.Ciao. Also my new blog to this projects is here.

Story

Today i will reveal the story for all those who have been waiting.The game happens an unprecidented period of time after the events of fusion.Samus is on the run from the galactic federation but she recieves a distress call not from the galactic federation or from a long lost ancient race but unexpectedly from space pirates...odd? but samus finds out that the space pirates are renegade pirates who are running away from the space pirate forces after betraying them on zebes in super metroid.samus also finds out that the renegades were conducting experiments on many of the creatures they took before the planet zebes exploded and the creatures escaped invading the breeding areas in the process and samus must land on their hangar and kill the creatures before they wipe out the entire renegade forces and then take over the entire galaxy.
